Skyrim cant download a mod cant perform operation
User Info: StraafeX. StraafeX 7 months ago 1. Whenever I try to download mods through the Skyrim mod menu itself all it does it sit on queued for a few minutes before failing and saying operation could not. Select "Mod Manager Download" on the correct file s you need for the mod. Wait for the mods to download in Vortex. Select a mod you wish to install and choose "Install".
Horace Sutton's Ownd. If you don't want to fiddle with untested and maybe-wonky software, the other option is to simply not download the new Skyrim patch until mods and such are fixed.
Hopefully you turned off auto-updates when you heard about this. But if not, perhaps start Steam offline to safely disable that now. If you did download the patch and wish you hadn't, another option is using a tool like the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Downgrade Patcher to revert it. Though I see that tool has since been broken by a wee patch.
Presumably that'll be updated too. If you don't buy it, you can still get a little newness, as Bethesda have released bits including fishing free for Special Edition players too. Battlefield Update 2 has improved bullet spread and nerfed hovercrafts. The Steam Autumn Sale has started. The Sims 4's next update lets you meddle with your neighbours' lives.

I would recommend performing a full reboot of your xbox console, as well as power cycling your modem and router. This should hopefully resolve the issue! Since mods like the ones usable in Skyrim are in game content, I would suggest trying the steps outlined in our support article entitled " My Xbox One game won't start or freezes during gameplay ".
If that does not work, I'd then try what we call a soft factory reset. It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues. Also make sure that you select the option denoted reset and keep my games and apps. Follow the steps here on How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and let us know how that helps with the issue.
You may have downloaded a corrupt mod on the Bethesda Server. You said you tried uninstalling it, and installing it. The file may just be corrupt or you ran out of memory. You can only have a certain amount of mods activated, if one is on and conflicts with the other, it will not be functional.
